Hello! Meet Tim Wedeman aka “DJ Timmy Weekend”  – Professional DJ of over 25 years!

His experience started in radio over 20 years ago then he ventured into the Mobile DJ business working at bars, private parties and then weddings, which became his primary business, as he still does today as his career.

Tim’s radio career: *Notes Binghamton, NY

1985-1991 – *WUCI, a non-profit, minority owned radio station. Started overnights, then promoted to mornings 4 months later. Stayed at that position until the station went defunct in 1991.

1989-1990 *WKGB, Rock, part-time, weekend overnights, weekday fill ins.

1990-1992 – *WGRG (Now Power 101.3) Soft AC, part-time, weekend overnights, weekday fill ins.

1992-1995 *WMRV, Hot AC, part-time, weekend overnights, weekday fill ins.

1995-1996 *WHWK,  Country, part-time, weekend overnights, weekday fill ins.

2007 (2 months) WGY,  Traffic, temporary.

For 4 years (2002-2006) Tim was the “party DJ” for the Fly 92 Morning Show as their party and Happy Hour DJ. At places such as O’Tooles, The Big House and most notably, Jillian’s.

His equipment is the best. He uses the incomparable Bose L1 System, which has tamed the acoustical challenges of venues such as the Hall of Springs, Canfield Casino, Franklin Plaza, 11 North Pearl, Saratoga Convention Center and such venues. There is no other speaker like it! This spectacular speaker system has an amazing 360* angle which means you can hear the music clearly, whether you are in front or in the back corner.

Also, for the past 25 years, Tim has donated his services to The American Cancer Society’s event called  ”The Relay for Life” – which happens every June.

Tim’s had the pleasure and honor for working at most venues in the Capital Region area. He is also grateful to be highly recommended by these venues. He also DJ’ed celebrity parties and weddings where guests included Mayor Rudy Giuliani, The Family of James Taylor and most recently, David Cassidy (Of The Partridge Family!) And Steve Madden, world famous shoe designer!
